If You Like Dance Competiton Style Movies, Go See MAKE YOUR MOVE

Image

The MAKE YOUR MOVE movie poster and title does NOT do the movie justice; MAKE YOUR MOVE is more Excellent than conveyed on paper, some would also call it a chick flick (like that is a bad thing when guys love chick flicks, tell the truth guys, yet they must whine to look manly??? hahhaha), but if you seriously want to learn (if you can) how to dance and take your shirt off (guys) in a heartbeat, see this movie.  It was the hottest style move I’ve ever seen.  That winning move is a wow moment, not only because Derek shows off some triple threat abs … the dance move is Kool.

Derek Hough we know from Dancing With The Stars in the U.S. since 2007 and he competed in the U.K. for 10 years before that.  So he is fiercely trained, but I saw him anew in MAKE YOUR MOVE; at first he looks like a mini Leonardo DiCaprio :)with unusual cat eyes then he is just HOTTER.  Transformation from little boy to man!  They do pair him well with a smaller sized dancer named BoA who makes him look very good for all the right reasons.  They fit like a glove in every dance sequence and the moves get better in each scene.  BoA (Best Of Asia)–she is called–is a pop star in Korea, Japan, and China for reals and  she shows off her talent in the U.S. MAKE YOUR MOVE.  I like her. She made no apologies and danced from her soul to get her VISA, in the movie, and did not succumb to NYC extortion.

This movie does tell youth to live honestly and pay for their crime if they have committed any and lead a clean life.  The movie portrays rival brothers and dance clubs and Derek + BoA overcome the craziness.

I love dance and when they moved I wished I could move like them.  I went into fantasy mode, because I enjoyed the good dance competitions and choreographies.  It’s cool to watch. I’m sure you will enjoy it too, if you like to watch tap + couple’s dancing free style with passion 🙂 I was so inspired, I might even take up tap dancing.  MAKE YOUR MOVE!!!! I did 🙂

  1. I’m so glad that I came to check out your blog! I love Dancing with the Stars and Derek Hough is amazing. I’m going to see the movie soon. I would never have known about it if I hadn’t come here. Thanks.

    • Alright!!!! That’s what I want :)))) He is Sexy in this movie, mostly towards the middle when he fights for his girl and they dance together. He doesn’t hold back and he is matched with an equal dancing partner. I don’t know if you will like the entire story, I did, but the middle and last dance sequences are romantic, and amazing to watch and you will love it!!! Put yourself in her place when you day dream. They dance strong and it’s peaceful to watch, as weird as that sounds. I guess they convey their emotions in the dance and we feel it and that’s the way dancing is supposed to go down. Derek + BoA are great and she is new to me, and he is better than ever. Let me know :)))) Thank You 🙂 I smiled cheek to cheek. U’ll now what I’m talking about when you see it 🙂

      • My friend, her husband and I going to see it tomorrow at noon. And I have no doubts that when my daughter arrives from India this weekend we will go see it again! And all because of your blog post.

    • That’s Teriffic!!! It does have a story too, which includes Derek being on probation, but it ends nicely. I’m so happy that you will go with 2 other people 🙂 and then again 🙂 with your daughter arriving from India. Let me know after you see it how you enjoyed it. Be honest. They dance with an excitement of a new couple, against all odds and make it through all the pressures .. it’s terrific! BTW (by the way), I have a review coming up in May about an amazing story involving India, but can’t give it away just yet. Stay tuned :))) Thanks Karuna 🙂

      • That is exciting tip. I hope it is coming out in May. Both of my adult children, who live in India, will be here. I will look forward to seeing it.

      • I will tell you in May as to not spoil it (yet), tell me how today went w/ Derek’s movie 🙂 … did you enjoy it … be real. I also posted about Cuban Fury, not a movie w/ as much dancing as you would think. It was more story than dancing …. if you want to know more after reading the past review and maybe want to see Cuban Fury which is currently out, just ask me or tell me what’s on your mind:)

      • I liked it, but not as much as I would have if I had slept well last night. I don’t do well with only 4 hours sleep but I decided I wanted to go anyway.

I loved the dancing! And I probably will take my daughter to see it when she comes.

      • You don’t seem thrilled … it’s great for your daughter because she can love the story + the dancing where maybe you just loved the dancing? Did you see the shirt move? 🙂 And your friends? Tell the truth, how did they like it or not?

      • I did like the story.. Mostly the lack of sleep last night was the problem. And true, I especially liked the dancing.

My friend woke up sick so I went alone. I know she will see it later because she loves to watch Derek dance.

      • I told ya! Derek is excellent as is his sister 🙂 Sorry you went alone, but I am glad you went to get out 🙂 I didn’t think you would be into the story per se, but I liked it + was happy to see a lot of dancing which is why I saw it too. Usually there is more story and Make Your Move has more dancing and when you see the 3 couple’s dance sequences it’s worth it and the shirt off move I liked 🙂

    • OMG! WOW! Thank You! I feel justified because I love, go to and review movies all the time and I am here to share my experiences with the world. I’ve only just begun with 21 followers 🙂 And the movies that I don’t like or that don’t have any qualities I wish to share I don’t write about, mostly because they deal with sad topics or horror, which isn’t my thing. I intend on enhancing the amount of blogs or to write with more consistency and I write in hopes that Movie Justice will be shared among like minded authentic friends to some degree. I feel very honored by your decision Karuna and above all I feel appreciated and appreciate the Movie Justice nomination. Hehehheee :)))))) Thank You. XO! 🙂 That’s so nice of you 🙂

      • Me Too! Thanks!!!! :))) And it all started with just me hehhehe. Aside: I did reach out to a particular Seattle video game company in 2012 to do cartoon voice-overs and was ignored, not exciting. Must continue my passions and movies are one huge passion for me 🙂 So Thank You for not hating 🙂

      • Yes, It Hurts, but I’ll let it go because I thanked the community, a cool guy from the U.K. who thanked me, I spoke of many achievements due to our process in Blogging 101 and then I let others know there is a Liebster Award, then I thanked you by your Sanskrit name, Karuna–last, but not least 🙂 I went back tonight to edit the post to include your URL to your blog I didn’t have it at the time. But POOF! It Vanished. You saw it so it’s good. I’m creating my Liebster Post on Movie Justice now. We got nominated the same day hehhehehe… I haven’t reached out to 11 people yet. Is there a deadline?

      • You don’t reach out to the eleven people until you have posted your blog about the award. You contact them when you write the email saying that they have been nominated and to go to your published post to get the information they need to know about it. You could use the one I sent you as a template if you like. There is no deadline. You do it when you want.

I’ve had things disappear from the blogging 101 site too. I just rewrite it and it stays up the next time. It is probably just a glitch in the system.
